Thousands of Brazilians will finally be able to access extra value through Caixa Tem. To do this, it is important to update data in CadÚnico.

Excellent news has arrived for more than 21 million beneficiaries registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico), who are now entitled to an extra payment through the Caixa Tem application.

The installments, with a minimum value of R$600, began to be made available, bringing significant financial relief to many Brazilian families in vulnerable situations.

How does payment work at Caixa Tem?

In principle, Bolsa Família, one of the federal government’s most recognized income transfer programs, is the main benefit paid by Caixa Tem.

The payment schedule followed the final digit of the Social Identification Number (NIS), starting on February 16th for those with final NIS 1.

In addition to withdrawals, Caixa Tem offers a range of services to Bolsa Família beneficiaries. It is possible to pay bills, make transfers via PIX, recharge your cell phone, and make purchases with a virtual debit card, among others.

Understanding the rules of Bolsa Família

In summary, Bolsa Família is a federal government program aimed at families in situations of poverty and extreme poverty.

To be eligible, families must have a per capita income of up to R$178.00.

The program requires compliance with conditionalities in the areas of health and education, such as monitoring the national vaccination calendar and minimum school attendance of 60% for children aged 4 to 5 and 75% for young people aged 6 to 18.

How to register

Furthermore, to register with Bolsa Família, it is necessary to be registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government.

This registration can be done at the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) closest to your residence.

You must bring documents from all family members, such as ID, CPF, children’s birth certificate, proof of residence and proof of income.

After registration, the government will analyze whether the family meets the program criteria and then begin receiving the benefit.

Eligibility and benefits

Furthermore, to be eligible, families must fulfill commitments in the areas of health and education, keeping CadÚnico updated.

Bolsa Família includes benefits such as Citizenship Income (BRC), Complementary (BCO), Extraordinary Transition (BET), First Childhood (BPI), and Family Variable (BVF and BVN), guaranteeing a minimum of R$600 per family.

February payment calendar

Payment follows a specific calendar, which in February started on the 16th, extending until the 29th, depending on the end of each beneficiary’s NIS.
