Brazilians are CELEBRATING today (26/02) the extra R$ 100 on the Caixa app

This month, Brazilians will be able to access an extra payment through Caixa that will benefit thousands of families. That is, of course, as long as they are in the rules.

In a move that promises to alleviate the financial difficulties of many Brazilian families, the Ministry of Development and Assistance confirmed the reintroduction of an important benefit this February.

In this way, those who are entitled will be able to access payment if they comply with the rules that the federal government has stipulated. Check out!

Benefit for Brazilians through Caixa

The news, which comes as a breath of hope, announces that Caixa Tem beneficiaries will be able to count on an extra R$102.

It is mainly aimed at low-income families registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) with a per capita monthly family income equal to or less than half the minimum wage.

Understanding Gas Aid

Initially, Auxílio Gás appears as an important initiative to ensure access to cooking gas, essential for food security and quality of life for families in vulnerable situations.

In short, the measure provides for the aid to be made available every two months, ensuring that families can cook and heat their food, a basic need that many struggle to maintain in the face of current economic challenges.

How to receive the benefit through Caixa?

Furthermore, for eligible families who do not yet have a bank account, Caixa Econômica Federal will automatically create a Digital Social Savings Account.

This simplified procedure aims to facilitate access to federal benefits, including Gas Aid, without the need to travel or queue, respecting health and safety guidelines in times of pandemic.

Payment Schedule

The distribution of Gas Aid will follow the Bolsa Família calendar, with payments scheduled between the 16th and 29th of February.

In this sense, it is important that beneficiary families pay attention to the last digit of the Social Identification Number (NIS) to verify the correct date of receipt.

NIS end 1: February 16 NIS end 2: February 19 NIS end 3: February 20 NIS end 4: February 21 NIS end 5: February 22 NIS end 6: February 25 NIS end 7: February 26 NIS end 8: February 27 NIS end 9: February 28NIS end 0: February 29

In emergency situations declared by the Civil Defense, as recently happened in states such as Rio Grande do Sul, Bahia and Maranhão due to intense rains, payments can be advanced, demonstrating the program’s flexibility and responsiveness to the urgent needs of the population.

A government support action

This initiative, in partnership with Caixa Econômica, reinforces the government’s commitment to supporting families most affected by the country’s economic challenges.

In addition to providing the essentials for food preparation, Auxílio Gás represents a significant step towards a more fair and egalitarian society, where basic needs are not just a privilege, but a right guaranteed to everyone.

Pay attention to your Caixa account

Finally, given this new development, it is essential that eligible families keep their data updated on CadÚnico and pay attention to payment dates to ensure they receive this much-needed benefit.

Caixa Econômica Federal and the Brazilian government continue to work together to ensure that support reaches those who need it most, reinforcing the country’s social security network and promoting the well-being of its citizens.
