Apple launches refurbished 14-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Chip

Apple has expanded its offering in the refurbished store, introducing the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M3 chip in Canada and several European countries, marking the first time this model has been available as refurbished since its launch in October. European countries include Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, with availability in the United States starting earlier this month.

Refurbished Apple products, including the MacBook Pro, go through a rigorous review process, assuring consumers of quality and functionality at a reduced price.

Discounts and purchase conditions

As is customary with refurbished Apple products, refurbished 14-inch MacBook Pro models are offered at an approximate 15% discount compared to equivalent new models. Various configurations and color options are available.

Apple says that all refurbished Macs go through a "thorough cleaning and inspection process" to ensure they are working properly and in good condition. Plus, they’re covered by Apple’s one-year limited warranty and are eligible for extended AppleCare+ coverage. The laptops come repackaged in a generic white box with all accessories and manuals included.

A savings opportunity

From our perspective, Apple refurbished Macs are virtually indistinguishable from new ones, representing an excellent opportunity to get savings directly from Apple. This initiative not only offers a more accessible option for consumers, but also supports sustainability by giving devices a second life.
