The anticipation of the 13th salary for INSS retirees and pensioners has been a practice adopted by the government in recent years, especially after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
The measure aims to support retirees who are in the risk group and deal with the financial difficulties caused by the health crisis.
In 2024, the expectation is that this anticipation will continue, with payments expected to occur between the months of May and June. The January bonus, therefore, is just the announcement of deposits.
INSS 13th salary calendar: When does the bonus appear in the account?
The first installment of the 13th INSS salary will be paid in May, following a specific calendar for beneficiaries who receive up to the minimum wage and for those who receive above this amount.
Payment dates vary according to the final benefit number, starting with end 1 on May 3rd and continuing until end 0 on June 7th. We will show both calendars below:

The second installment of the 13th salary will be deposited in June, with a schedule similar to that of the first installment. Payment dates also vary according to the final benefit number, starting on June 24th for end 1 and ending on July 5th for end 0.
