The Government is preparing for a significant boost to its workforce, with the authorization of a new public competition for tax auditors. One of the main differences is the value of salaries, which in some cases can exceed R$15,000.

The preliminary stages of the contest

The contest organization process is already underway, starting with the formation of the organizing committee, responsible for drafting the regulations.

Who can participate in the auditor competition?

To be eligible for one of the vacancies, it is essential that the candidate has completed secondary or higher education. Therefore, there are no positions for professionals with Fundamental training.

How does the selection process work?

The selection for auditors will include stages of objective testing, technical visit, psychological assessment, social investigation and medical assessment, all of an eliminatory and classificatory nature.

The objective test is scheduled for April 14, 2024, being an important milestone for candidates who aspire to a career in public service.

How to register for the contest?

Those interested in the competition have a deadline of February 5, 2024 to March 7, 2024 to register on the Instituto AOCP website (

Registration fees vary between R$90.00 and R$130.00, depending on the position sought. There is the possibility of exemption from the fee for unemployed candidates or those registered in the Single Registry, upon request on the AOCP Institute website until February 9, 2024.

Where are the opportunities?

The recently announced competition is an initiative of the Government of Paraná, and in this sense, it will open 50 vacancies for tax auditors, distributed across several cities, including Curitiba, Ponta Grossa, Guarapuava, Jacarezinho, Londrina, Maringá, Umuarama, Cascavel and Pato Branco.

The need for this event was expressly mentioned by the Secretary of Finance, Renê Garcia Junior, highlighting the importance of maintaining a competent team in the face of retirements that reduce the number of active professionals.

More public service vacancies!

In addition to the competition for tax auditors, the government of Paraná also announced opportunities at the State Secretariat for Administration and Social Security of Paraná (Seap – PR), with 253 vacancies for immediate hiring.

This selection covers mid-level, technical and higher-level positions, with salaries ranging from R$4,231.60 to R$7,616.88 for a 40-hour week.
