Bolsa Família is having positive impacts

In addition, it offers an additional R$150 per child up to 6 years old, R$50 for pregnant women and children/adolescents between 7 and 17 years old, and R$50 for children up to six months old.

In short, these payments represent significant help, enabling families to better care for their children and maintain their dignity in difficult times.

What are the Bolsa Família rules?

Furthermore, Bolsa Família is aimed at families in situations of poverty or extreme poverty, with a per capita income of up to R$178.00.

Families must be registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico), and keep the data updated at least every two years.

There are also requirements related to health and education, such as minimum school attendance for children and adolescents, as well as monitoring the health of pregnant women and children under 7 years of age.

How do I sign up for the program?

Now, to register for Bolsa Família, families must first register with CadÚnico, a process that can be done at a Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) in the municipality.

In addition, it is necessary to bring documents from all family members. After registration, the federal government automatically selects families eligible to receive the benefit, based on the information provided.

Families that manage to pass the selection will receive a notification and must follow the indicated procedures to start receiving the benefit.

How does the gas voucher work?

Vale-Gás is a government program that offers assistance for the purchase of cooking gas cylinders for low-income families.

In summary, to be eligible, the family must be registered with CadÚnico with a per capita monthly family income of up to half the minimum wage.

Families with members who receive the Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC) are also included. Eligibility is determined by the government, which selects families based on data from CadÚnico.

How do I sign up to receive it?

Finally, a specific registration process for Vale-Gás is not necessary. Eligible families are automatically selected by the government based on CadÚnico data.

In this sense, to be considered for the program, families must have their registration updated in CadÚnico.

Families selected to receive the benefit will be informed and will receive payment according to the schedule established by the program.
