Jonesing for some classic rock? I suspect Harmonix will be happy to satisfy that jones with next week’s DLC offering for Rock Band 3. Check it:
| Lynyrd Skynyrd | Saturday Night Special | ||
| Lynyrd Skynyrd | Sweet Home Alabama (Live) | ||
| Lynyrd Skynyrd | Tuesday’s Gone | ||
| Lynyrd Skynyrd | What’s Your Name? | ||
| .38 Special | Hold on Loosely | ||
| Bad Company | Can’t Get Enough |
Per-track pricing is the usual $2, and you can pick up the four Skynyrd tunes for $6.99 on PS3, 560 Microsoft Points on 360, or 700 Wii Points. And if you’ve already made the leap to the Mustang, you’ll be pleased to know that every track next week features a Pro guitar/bass upgrade except for “Tuesday’s Gone.” Those’ll run you a buck, of course.

Another Tuesday, another hefty offering appearing in the Rock Band music store. Here’s what’s going live today…
…and on all systems.
Game site VG247 is reporting that next week’s Rock Band 3 DLC is the announced-but-not-yet-finalized Imagine from John Lennon. It’s looking like the track list is in fact the whole album (minus the title track, of course, which is on the RB3 disc). Individual tracks will go for the usual $2 or equivalent, with the whole pack running you $14.99 on PS3, 1200 Microsoft Points on 360, or 1500 Wii Points.And only “Oh My Love” will feature a Pro guitar/bass upgrade, for the usual buck.
Hit the original post for a rundown of tracks; alas, I still can’t provide you with a playlist. Hey, the Beatles just hit iTunes, you know?
Update: This is now official! No changes or additions.

The Bee Gees aren’t the only artists making their Rock Band (and music-game) debut next week. We’re also getting a pair of singles, one from blues legend B.B. King, and the wonderful “A Lighter Shade of Pale” from Procol Harum.

We also get details for all this goodness. The Bee Gees pack will go for $9.99 on PS3, 800 Microsoft Points on 360, or 1000 Wii Points. All of the individual tracks will go for the usual $2 or equivalent. And you can upgrade “Stayin’ Alive” and “The Thrill is Gone” for a buck.

Nope, that’s not a joke. G4tv.com reports that next week’s DLC offering for Rock Band 3 will feature six tracks from the poster boys for disco, The Brothers Gibb — five of which come from the iconic ’70s movie Saturday Night Fever.
| Bee Gees | Jive Talkin’ | ||
| Bee Gees | Night Fever | ||
| Bee Gees | Stayin’ Alive | ||
| Bee Gees | Nights on Broadway | ||
| Bee Gees | Tragedy | ||
| Bee Gees | You Should Be Dancing |
These should hit all systems on Tuesday. No word yet on pricing, but I’m expecting it’ll probably be $10.
Interesting that on the day it’s announced that Harmonix is being sold, they reveal a DLC pack anchored by the wildly popular “Stayin’ Alive”… Coincidence? Doubt it.
