The tracks hit on Tuesday, but there’s a small wrinkle: “That’s Tha’ Homie” won’t hit PS3 for another week, for some reason. As a result, the whole pack won’t hit PS3 until September 21.

There’s one problem with that Megamix, though: Reports indicate that the vocals include some buggy talking parts, making it impossible to pass the song on vox. But hey, it’s free — and there’s 10 minutes worth of really diverse drums, guitar, and bass in there. So it’s hard to complain too much. Still, I’ll let you know if a new version goes up with the fixed vocals.

Hit either of those links to hear playlists of everything on offer today.

According to the post, the Rock Band Music Store will get two songs from the band’s upcoming album A Thousand Suns when it releases on September 14 — along with six older tunes. Then, a month later, on October 19, the Guitar Hero store will get six (yes, six) songs from the new album.

There’s no official confirmation from either music-game camp about the validity of this, but it sounds fairly official. Hit the Read link to see the whole onslaught of Linkin Park heading you way this fall.

We already had three Ministry songs in the Rock Band Music Store, but I’d argue that these three are vastly better known. I mean, I could be wrong, but I think these are pretty much the three tunes that put the band on the map.

Anyway, there’s no official announcement out of Harmonix yet, but I think it’s a safe bet to assume these will go for the usual prices. (Revolver seems to think the whole pack will go for $1.99, but that can’t be right.) [UPDATE: Usual prices confirmed -- and no additional DLC for next week announced.]
