Well, here’s an interesting development: A post on the French Guitar Hero blog seems to indicate the game will be getting a five-pack of ’90s hits as DLC sometime this month. The purported lineup:
| Goo Goo Dolls | Name | ||
| Marcy Playground | Sex and Candy | ||
| Matchbox Twenty | Real World | ||
| R.E.M. | What’s the Frequency, Kenneth? | ||
| Sponge | Plowed |
According to the post, the pack should go for 760 Microsoft Points on 360 and 950 Wii Points, which should put it at $9.49 on PS3 here in the U.S.; each track should be the usual $2 or equivalent. No word yet on release date, but you can have a listen to the whole lineup in the playlist after the break.

ROCK BAND WANT NOW!
Man, that’s a great pack. Would buy this day one if it was on Rock Band. Not a GH hater, I just don’t play GH as often, so I wouldn’t get my money’s worth out of it.
ugh! that’s an AWFUL pack. were the Hootie and The Blowfish masters not available?
strange choices, especially after GH6 went so heavy with the on-disc setlist.
Wow, a whole 50 cents off if you buy the 5-pack… I hope AV doesn’t go bankrupt doing that.
FWIW, RB appears to give $1.50 off of 5-packs (based on some previous ones I found).
Awesome pack- then again the 90s was public school for me.
Some pretty good songs there…
OK, now someone get Sex and Candy ported over to Rock Band please.
Damn… I’ve been wanting Matchbox Twenty and Goo Goo Dolls in Rock Band forever (“Yourself or Someone Like You” full album download plz!). A great pack for GH players.
