While in the same vein but more relating to artist oriented games, I think releasing an album all as its own playable Rock Band (or Guitar Hero if you prefer) disc would be something. They've done it simply before with AC/DC Live, but not exactly in the same scale I'm thinking. Instead of just shipping a Rock Band disc with a custom setlist, give it a bit of the Beatles/Green Day treatment. Put the band in the game, and maybe design one custom stadium or club suited to them. And of course have the option to pop the songs over into the main Rock Band games. This idea all came together while thinking, "If they released Them Crooked Vultures as its own little Rock Band game with just that album, maybe with Josh, John, Dave, and Alain as playable character models, and some crazy visualizations paired with some or all the songs, I would sure as hell buy it." Then again, this specific dream isn't so bright anymore as they've already released one song of theirs on the RB Music Store. But hey, it may be an option for others to utilize in the future.

Whilst I like the idea in theory, I barely listen to the CDs I've got now, and with my urge to own every RB download under the sun I can see it getting painfully expensive in the long run...
