Huh. For some reason I guess I’d always assumed that the White Stripes were all over music games. Turns out they’ve only appeared in one: “Blue Orchid” is on the Guitar Hero 5 disc. But next week, the indie-rock duo is quadrupling their music game presence with three tracks in the Rock Band music store.

Next week also sees the release of two singles: “Smash It Up, Pt. 2″ from legendary punk band The Damned (you may be more familiar with The Offspring’s cover); and “Club Foot” from UK indie outfit Kasabian, whom you may remember from the the delightfully bizarre Football Hero video.
