It’s not even November yet, but PC World has gone ahead and run down their 100 best products of 2009. And sitting at number nine on the list (naturally) is The Beatles: Rock Band:
[T]his gaming experience isn’t just a straight setlist, it’s a musical history lesson. … Amazingly, I find myself battling my wife–and the in-laws–for control of the mic.
It’s one of two games on the list, with Uncharted 2 justifiably joining it, albeit way down at number 100. Also appearing from the world of games: the PC game-download service Steam, the newly slimmed-down PS3 and the Nintendo DSi. Nice to see a PC publication giving some love to its console brethren.
