I find this surprising: Harmonix’s manager of communications and special projects, John Drake, told The BBPS that more downloadable content for The Beatles: Rock Band is not a guarantee. While Abbey Road is still slated for October 20, with Sgt. Pepper’s due in November and Rubber Soul in December, anything beyond that is still very much in the air.
From the article:
“Every time we do one song … its like, send people to Abbey Road, use the original tape, separate them out … it costs thousands of dollars. We’re waiting to see how things sell. We’re waiting to see how the albums do. If they sell well, we’ll have a lot more content.”
So if you’re jonesing to get some more Beatles tunes beyond those already promised, make sure everyone you know is picking up the DLC that’s already announced.
