The Rock Band catalog gets another hefty update next week, with two three-song track packs and three singles. Starting things off is the critically acclaimed Raconteurs, starring Jack White, with two tracks from their most recent album, Consolers of the Lonely, and one from their debut, Broken Boy Soldiers.

Then we get a pack from Detroit crossover outfit Electric Six, whom I’ve never heard of before now — but I have to applaud any band that’s described as “garage, disco, punk, new wave, and metal.” Listening to the tracks on their MySpace page, I gotta say I’m not a huge fan of the singer, but the music is interesting as hell.

And wrapping things up we have three singles, two of which come from the delightful Alanis Morissette.

Yay, now we all get to debate the meaning of the word ironic again!
The tracks all come online at the usual times for the usual prices.

I find the best way to experience Electric Six is through the medium of flying Viking kittens: http://www.rathergood.com/gaybar
(Which reminds me, Mclusky would make great DLC… http://www.rathergood.com/lightsabre )
Really, the best way to experience anything is through the medium of flying Viking kittens. It kind of goes without saying.
That damned Flobots song is a viral Earworm. Love it though and other tracks of theirs!
