Nice. Next week’s Rock Band download lineup come in XL size. We start off with five tracks from seminal grunge rockers Alice in Chains, including two tracks — “A Looking in View” and “Check My Brain” — including two from their brand-spankin’-new album, Black Gives Way to Blue (Amazon | iTunes). And by “brand-spankin’-new,” I mean that it comes out the same day this DLC hits the 360 and Wii: September 29.

This makes two weeks in a row we’ve gotten new tracks day-and-date with an album’s release. But those five tracks make up less than half the offerings for next week. Also on the agenda are six singles: three from alt-metal band Breaking Benjamin (which in another week might have been the headlining artist) two from psychedelic UK band Kula Shaker, and one from 17-year-old pop-punk prodigy Just Kait.

These songs come online at the usual times on PS3, 360, and Wii. Pricing per track is your standard $2 equivalent, except for the Just Kait tune, which is available at half price: $.99, 80 Microsoft Points, or 100 Wii points. And you can pick up the whole Alice in Chains pack for $8.49 (680 MS). UPDATE: @HarmonixSean points out that the Breaking Benjamin tracks are also a pack, and can be had as a threesome for the standard price of $5.49 or 440 MS.
