In case you missed yesterday’s announcement, next week’s Rock Band DLC is the entirety of Pearl Jam’s new album Backspacer — and the tunes become available in Rock Band (on 360, at least) the same day the album comes out. That is, Sunday.

So it’s timely that the Rock Band Zine posts a new interview with Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready. It’s a fun little interview, that talks about the band’s evolution from their heady early days to their older and wiser selves. McCready even offers some recommendations for players picking up the album in Rock Band:

I would say try the solo on “Amongst the Waves.” I felt good about that. And just kind of rock out to “Gonna See My Friend.” That’ll be fun to jump around to and play.
