Catching up on some news from the weekend’s festivities at the Penny Arcade Expo, I came across this nifty bit at Joystiq. Geek-rock hero Jonathan Coulton was part of a panel discussing the Rock Band Network, where he demonstrated how to get a song ready for upload to RBN.

And of course, he didn’t just show off the behind-the-scenes stuff; once complete, the song — “The Future Soon” (Amazon | iTunes) off his EP Where Tradition Meets Tomorrow — was performed in all its Rock Bandiness.
