None other than Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Iggy Pop will be a playable character in Lego Rock Band. And not only that, apparently he’s going to be the instructor for the tutorial.
EW makes an astute observation here:
While Iggy is certainly one of the stranger choices to endorse a game aimed at young pretend-rockers … his inclusion is consistent with the wry quirkiness that’s become the trademark of other Lego videogames like Lego Star Wars and Lego Batman.
I haven’t seen anything official yet, but given how delightfully odd the very existence of Lego Rock Band is, I can’t say I’d be surprised.
