In the wake of all the Rock Band Network news last week, MTV’s Multiplayer blog spoke to Caleb Epps, composer and sound designer at Harmonix, about how RBN compares to the music-creation tools introduced in Guitar Hero World Tour.

The response was delightfully absent of any snark or sense of one-upsmanship. Among Epps’ thoughts:

“I guess you can say that ‘GH Tunes’ is more like composition with a series of tools, whereas [Rock Band Network] is taking your music and putting it into the game.”
