Rock Band DLC: Foo Fighters and More

foofighters-540I’ve spoken of this before in my column over at Green Pixels, but it bears repeating: I’m pretty sure Dave Grohl is the king of the music games right now. Between Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and his session work with other big bands, he’s made more appearances in the Rock Bands and the Guitar Heroes than anyone else I’m aware of. One of these days I’ll put together a complete list of every song he’s involved in, but that’s not what I came to talk about today.

I came to talk about Rock Band, which is adding another three Foo Fighters tracks to their DLC, along with some other nifty singles. But first, the Foo Fighters Pack 02:

Foo Fighters All My Life Foo Fighters - One By One - All My Life
Foo Fighters I’ll Stick Around Foo Fighters - Foo Fighters - I'll Stick Around
Foo Fighters Lonely as You Foo Fighters - One By One - Lonely As You

In addition to those three, we’ve got an assortment of alternative rock from the ’90s and today. Why do I suddenly sound like the guy who does radio promos between songs? PEW PEW PEW FORTY MINUTES OF SOLID ROCK!! TRAFFIC ON THE EIGHTS!

Er, right. Anyway:

Blind Melon No Rain Blind Melon - Blind Melon - No Rain
Blur There’s No Other Way Blur - Leisure - There's No Other Way
Dropkick Murphys I’m Shipping Up to Boston Dropkick Murphys - The Warrior's Code - I'm Shipping Up to Boston
Eve 6 Inside Out Eve 6 - Eve 6 - Inside Out
Kaiser Chiefs I Predict a Riot Kaiser Chiefs - Employment - I Predict a Riot

These can all be had for the usual price: two bucks apiece, or five and a half for all three Foo tracks. They hit 360 on Tuesday, PS3 on Thursday, and if the past couple weeks are any guide, probably the Wii the following Tuesday. But don’t hold me to that.
