…a lot of new tracks. In this satisfyingly varied offering of 24 new songs, the folks behind Guitar Hero 5 are indicating that they’re looking to stick with the plan of showcasing lesser-known artists — or lesser-known songs from popular artists. But That doesn’t mean there’s no singalong tracks in the mix.
Two items of particular note here: One, AFI’s “Medicate” will be available in the game before the album it’s drawn from (Crash Love) is released to the general public. And two, the new version of Public Enemy’s classic “Bring the Noise” is recorded especially for the game, in collaboration with Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde. Behold the power of Guitar Hero!
